These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of BonusPour, a mobile application and related software platform operated by JW Technologies LLC. By creating an account, accessing the app, scanning QR codes, claiming rewards, redeeming drinks or vouchers, using admin tools, or using any BonusPour feature, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use BonusPour.
1. What BonusPour Does
BonusPour helps participating bars, restaurants, venues, and similar businesses create and manage digital drink unlocks, vouchers, events, challenges, loyalty rewards, QR-code promotions, redemption tracking, and analytics through the BonusPour app.
BonusPour provides the software platform only. Participating businesses are responsible for creating, describing, approving, honoring, refusing, modifying, and fulfilling any offers, drinks, vouchers, discounts, events, challenges, rewards, or promotions shown for that business.
BonusPour does not sell, serve, furnish, deliver, or provide alcoholic beverages.
2. Eligibility
Alcohol-related offers are intended only for users who are legally permitted to consume alcohol in their location. In the United States, that generally means users must be at least 21 years old.
Participating bars and venues may require valid government-issued identification before honoring any offer. BonusPour does not replace bartender judgment, venue policy, age verification, alcohol service laws, or any legal responsibility of a participating business.
3. Rewards and Redemptions
Offers, rewards, vouchers, challenges, and redemptions may be subject to availability, expiration, quantity limits, location limits, eligibility requirements, redemption periods, app functionality, participating bar rules, and applicable law.
Unless otherwise stated:
- offers have no cash value;
- offers cannot be sold, transferred for money, or exchanged for cash;
- offers may expire based on the redemption period set by the participating business;
- offers may be limited to a certain number of redemptions;
- bars may refuse service where required by law, safety policy, intoxication concerns, age verification failure, technical error, suspected abuse, or other legitimate business reasons;
- expired, already-used, invalid, duplicate, copied, manipulated, or unauthorized vouchers or QR codes may be rejected;
- screenshots, copied QR codes, manipulated redemption tokens, or unauthorized redemptions may be rejected.
BonusPour does not guarantee that any specific reward, drink, voucher, event, challenge, discount, or promotion will always be available.
4. QR Codes and Hidden Code Promotions
Participating businesses may use BonusPour QR codes for visible or hidden promotional experiences, including scavenger-hunt style rewards, table rewards, event promotions, limited-time offers, or other venue-based promotions.
Participating businesses are responsible for printing, placing, displaying, hiding, maintaining, testing, and removing their own BonusPour QR codes.
QR codes should only be placed in safe, lawful, clean, appropriate, and customer-accessible areas of the venue. Businesses should not place QR codes in locations that require users to climb, crawl, move furniture, enter restricted areas, interfere with staff operations, damage property, access unsafe areas, or otherwise act unsafely.
BonusPour is not responsible for injuries, property damage, customer disputes, venue issues, inaccessible QR codes, poor QR code placement, damaged QR codes, unreadable QR codes, or issues caused by a participating business's QR code setup.
Participating businesses are responsible for testing QR codes before making a promotion available to users.
5. Bar Subscriptions and Per-Location Licensing
Some bar/admin features require a paid subscription. Payments and subscription management may be handled by Stripe or another payment processor.
Unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement, each paid subscription applies to one physical business location only.
A subscription for one bar, restaurant, venue, or business location does not grant access for additional locations, affiliated venues, franchise locations, chain locations, or commonly owned locations.
Businesses operating multiple physical locations must maintain a separate subscription for each location that uses BonusPour unless BonusPour has expressly agreed to different multi-location pricing in writing.
Free pilot access, trials, discounted access, promotional access, or manual billing overrides may be modified, ended, or revoked by BonusPour at any time.
6. Bar Admins
Bar admin accounts may manage bar profiles, drink offers, QR codes, events, challenges, vouchers, analytics, redemptions, billing, admin access, and other business-related features.
Bar admins are responsible for making sure their offers, descriptions, prices, redemption periods, QR codes, images, promotions, and rewards are accurate, lawful, safe, and honored according to applicable rules and laws.
Bar admins must not publish false, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, discriminatory, infringing, unauthorized, or deceptive offers. Participating businesses are responsible for training their staff on how BonusPour rewards and redemptions work.
7. User Conduct
Users may not:
- abuse, exploit, manipulate, copy, sell, or misuse QR codes, redemption tokens, vouchers, challenges, friend sharing, or app features;
- attempt to create, copy, reuse, forge, manipulate, or redeem unauthorized rewards;
- attempt to access another user's account or data;
- attempt to bypass app security, Firebase security rules, App Check, Stripe billing, redemption limits, subscription checks, or other technical protections;
- use automated scripts, fake clients, emulators, bots, scraping tools, or unauthorized tools to access BonusPour;
- upload unlawful, offensive, misleading, unsafe, infringing, or unauthorized content;
- harass other users, bars, bartenders, admins, or BonusPour representatives;
- use BonusPour in violation of any law, regulation, venue rule, alcohol-related requirement, or third-party right.
8. Friends and Sharing
BonusPour may allow users to connect with friends, send friend requests, share eligible drink unlocks, and receive app notifications. Shared drinks, rewards, or perks may be limited by availability, redemption limits, expiration dates, participating bar rules, and app functionality.
BonusPour is not responsible for disputes between users.
9. Payments and Cancellations
Paid subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through the available billing management tools or another process provided by BonusPour. Subscription fees are generally billed in advance and may be non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by BonusPour.
If payment fails, if a subscription is canceled, or if a business loses access to paid features, BonusPour may restrict or disable admin features, QR code creation, promotions, analytics, or other business tools.
10. Third-Party Services
BonusPour uses third-party services such as Firebase, Google services, Stripe, hosting providers, app stores, and other infrastructure providers. Your use of BonusPour may involve those services, and some actions may be subject to their terms and policies.
BonusPour is not responsible for third-party service outages, payment processor issues, app store issues, device issues, network issues, or other third-party problems outside our control.
11. Availability
BonusPour may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may perform maintenance, fix bugs, improve security, change features, update QR code behavior, change rewards functionality, or alter how offers and redemptions work.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or continuous access to BonusPour.
12. Intellectual Property
BonusPour, including its name, logo, branding, app design, software, text, graphics, QR code layouts, website, and features, is owned by or licensed to JW Technologies LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, sublicense, or misuse any part of BonusPour except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
Participating businesses retain ownership of their own business names, logos, images, and content, but grant BonusPour permission to store, display, process, and use that content as needed to operate the app and related services.
13. User and Business Content
If you upload profile images, bar images, event images, drink images, logos, descriptions, or other content, you represent that you have the right to upload and use that content. You grant BonusPour permission to store, display, process, reproduce, and use that content as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve BonusPour.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or creates legal, safety, security, operational, or reputational concerns.
14. Privacy
Your use of BonusPour is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, store, and protect information.
15. No Legal, Alcohol, or Compliance Advice
BonusPour does not provide legal, regulatory, alcohol compliance, tax, accounting, or business advice. Participating businesses are responsible for understanding and complying with laws and regulations that apply to their promotions, rewards, alcohol service, advertising, pricing, taxes, and customer interactions.
16. No Warranties
BonusPour is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not make warranties that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or always available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JW Technologies LLC and BonusPour are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost business, unavailable rewards, refused redemptions, failed QR scans, expired rewards, customer disputes, venue issues, alcohol-related incidents, third-party service issues, or participating bar decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BonusPour's total liability for any claim relating to the app or services will not exceed the amount paid to BonusPour by the user or business bringing the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars if no amount was paid.
18. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JW Technologies LLC, BonusPour, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of BonusPour, your content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, your QR code placement, your promotions, your redemptions, your business operations, or your interactions with users or participating businesses.
19. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to BonusPour if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or businesses, abuse rewards, fail to pay required subscription fees, or use the app in a way that could harm BonusPour, users, bars, venues, or third parties.
Participating businesses may lose access to admin tools, QR codes, analytics, and promotions if their subscription is inactive, canceled, unpaid, manually revoked, or otherwise invalid.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you in the app, require you to accept the updated Terms, update the effective date, or post the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of BonusPour after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
